Steps

  • 1

    Section Hair

Start by sectioning off the top half of the head. Go around until the entire top half is sectioned.

  • 2

    Clip Hair

Loosely clip each section on the sides of the head.

  • 3

    Curl Hair

Take small, 1 square inch hair sections from the bottom section. Using a two-pronged curling iron, create a figure-eight and rock the curling iron in towards the head, holding for a few seconds.

  • 4

    Stretch Curl

Pull out the curling iron and stretch out the hair. At the bottom of the curl indentation, create an S in the curling iron and rock once back towards the head, holding for a few seconds before stretching the hair out again.

  • 5

    Repeat Process

Continue taking 1 square inch sections and repeat the curling. If you are worried about the damaging heat, a great product to use is Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Leave-In Spray.

    Apply Serum

Once you have the entire bottom section curled, finger through the style and work Split Remedy Split End Sealing Serum through the ends. Drop the top section and finish curling the top section. If you feel your ends are too straight, grab a large section of hair and wrap it around just one of the barrels for added curl. Once the entire head is curled, work a small amount of Split Remedy End Sealing Serum through the ends and the mid-shafts.
